REALTORS® Care…Yes, we do! 

The Greater Tampa Association of REALTORS® began early last year, at the suggestion of our then President Elect Carlos Fuentes, to form a public charity foundation to direct our efforts to provide education assistance, housing assistance and affordable housing opportunities for Hillsborough County residents.  The IRS has finally granted non-profit charity status for the REALTORS® Care Foundation of GTAR, Inc.

Now the real work begins, and we need your help to ensure this becomes a foundation that truly makes a difference in our community.  The Foundation’s Board of Directors has formed several committees:  Fundraising; Marketing; Programs; Website; Education; Affordable Housing; and Selection. Nominations have been made for chairmen.  Now, we need you, your friends, acquaintances, and fellow leaders, both GTAR members and non-members, to join with us to begin the work of the foundation.  If you can afford a few hours a month and want to make a difference in your county, please email Carol@GTAR.net with REALTORS® Care in the subject line.
We have a great opportunity to show the heart and soul of the REALTOR® organization by joining with other community leaders to forge an alliance that will make a difference. It’s up to you to help make your foundation the premiere foundation for housing and education in Hillsborough County. REALTORS® Care! Let’s show it.
